        GENERAL PROVISIONS

        1. The Association shall be a Type 2 private organization established pursuant to the provisions of Air Force Instruction (AFI) 34-123. The Association organization is not a non-appropriated fund activity, nor is it entitled to the privileges and immunities of the Federal Government. Authority for this private organization to operate comes from the consent of the installation commander. Operation is contingent on compliance with the requirements and conditions of all applicable AF Instructions. The 11th Wing Commander may at any time withdraw this permission.

The Association shall operate as a non-profit organization with all the monies raised being used for maintenance of IDMT Home Page, purchase of IDMT memorabilia (ie..coins, hats, cups, t-shirts) special presentations/gifts, parties, bonafide charities, and other causes deemed appropriate and approved by majority vote of the Board or general membership.
